It's not Just a Label, it's a Lifestyle. I really dig the Flash site for Sean "P Puffy Diddy Daddy" Comb's new clothing line. It's a fancy and somewhat restrained use of Flash, but with an UCR (unintentional comedy rating) through the roof. Choose your own sountrack while you explore the catwalk shots. "It's how you freak it baby," indeed.

it seems like everyone who is already a celebrity is doing more and more to become more of a celebrity, and as cool as a lot of the stuff that they come out with might be, it is also kinda sick i think... such as J. Lo's new fragrance, which she is getting sued over.

For real unintended comedy, I watch Puffy's stupid making the band show on MTV. I hadn't seen more than five minutes of puffy at any one time before, and had no idea what a jackass he is. He's got an ego bigger than Larry Ellison's, and devotes some portion of each show to pitching his products or his artists. In between segments of him talking in the third person and segments of "what mr. important puffy did today" are scenes of him giving his band members-to-be shit for not looking good, rapping well, or singing off key. The show (like this site) is complete shit, but I can't help but watch it for the sake of comedy.

i wouldn't say the site is complete shit. yeah, there are problems, but i think it has a lot of unique qualities. i think a lot of people too readily diss flash sites (and most of these sites deserve it) but i love to check out all the new and innovative ways people are using flash today.

It's a tossup for me. Which mouth-always-slightly-open pop-celebrity annoys me most? Frddie Prinze Jr. or Mr. Diddy? The pose that Diddy-Daddy is striking on the front page of this site - WTF? He looks constipated and slightly stunned, like he just got punched in the groin. Is this supposed to look cool? Or maybe it's just "Haute Coture" (sic, from the developers site).

Yeah, here's the deal with Flash - unless it can only be done in Flash, it probably shouldn't be done in Flash. I'm on a T3, I can d/l at over a meg a second, and that page would've taken a full minute to load. No one will wait to see what the Flash is, no matter if it's good or not.
