I met two argentinos riding along a section of the Inca Trail in the Ecuadorean Andes, who said they were riding from Buenos Aires to New York. Years later, I fund them in this site's Equestrian Timeline. One of them made it! (1993 Hugo Gasseolis).

Also of interest are Bud & Temple Abernathy, who criscrossed the US starting out at ages 6 & 10.

OT: Dammit, I thought for a moment you meant these Long Ryders. I still miss them. Tell It To The Judge On Sunday!
