Check it out party people its the Human Beatbox! So you're hanging out with pals, and one of them starts throwing out the mad rhymes. You've got this incredible urge to back him up by creating wika-wika-wika noises just like the Fat Boys, but how? Learn how to here, and maybe someday, if you work hard enough... you'll be as good as "That Guy From Police Academy."

Anybody know who did the Beatbox in those MTV commercials with Slick Rick? That guy sounded amazing.

Probably Doug E. Fresh. They were a duo. Of sorts. I don't think he's getting deported though.

if you're into this, you MUST check out Yurilane.com...

i saw this guy perform and he is unbelieveable. I believe he's taken his show to NY, so new yorkers, try and catch it.

it's a one-man show told through beatbox -- sounds stupid, but it's very well done.

Actually, I think the beatboxer in the the Slick Rick MTV ads was Rahzel, from the Roots.

Thanks, nicwolff. That clip's been looming in my subconscious for a long time.

Beatboxing (or vocal percussion) is still going strong. There's a whole organization of them.

You can also get instructional videos.
