Sports Night No Go on HBO.Despite the fact that Aaron Sorkin (the creator) had already made plans on an HBO-ized show, ABC and HBO have called off talks due to "financial issues which couldn't be resolved." If you were a fan of Sorkin (Sports Night), you may enjoy "The West Wing." I do.

Dang, this is terribly disappointing: I already miss Sports Night, and this was my hope.

Oh well -- now I still don't have to get cable!

I bought 5 channels of HBO in anticipation. Now, I have a portion of my pay check direct deposited into my cable account. What do I have to show for it? Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, indeed.
