I absolutely love this concept, but I find it disturbingly close to Colin Moock's activity driven website soundscape.

looking at the two sites, i think listening post may have been earlier (moock's is dated 2002; listening post was 2001). having said that, moock's site is excellent - i'm much more impressed by that than some apparently simple processing of ngrep output.

(now have the urge to connect ngrep up to something myself - maybe with the firewall logs too. hmmm....)
