oflinkey, that is one of the denizens of The Dolliseum. Or you might enjoy Yuri Kigurumi in a similar vein. I thought they bore a striking resemblance to the picture of the police mascot. Seems to be a trend. We Blorters are hip to these things, you know ;-)

I'm still wondering what the hell this Dolliseum is about. Are these people... acting out anime characters, like uberdorks do LARPs instead of playing oldschool RIFTS? Man, being a nerd just isn't good enough these days apparently. People take it to such extremes... (i find people that do LARPs and the guys that dress up in Sailor Moon outfits to be HIGHLY disturbing. Unless someone can tell me otherwise, the odd people underneath these eerie plastic doll faces are going to get lumped in that pile..)

A local shopping center down the road has (or had I'm not sure if they still do) where if you parked in a handicap zone without a handicap disc, then a guy in a giant gerbil suit with a sign reading "I parked in a handicap zone" follows you around as you do your shopping.
