SIMbabes ain't putting out... I play The Sims. You probably suspected that didn't you? Well, there's a Blogger Powered weblog by the guy behind the upcoming Blueprint program, and guess what? Copyright infringement once again rears its ugly head in cyberspace. A website called Simcorally has downloaded objects others created and claimed them as his own. So now the SIMbabes are on strike. The upshot of this is I'm still stuck with that obnoxious green couch. I want something better. And that piano looks awful nice. Simlane has more on the topic.

UPDATE: DrOmango has formally apologized at SimcoRally and hopefully this will be the beginning of the end of this torrid affair. But was this silliness really necessary? Will Blueprint and its supporters shut down every time someone else copies their files and posts them on another site? I may never get my coffee table at this point.

The Sims for Macintosh is supposedly out of beta and supposed to be shipping by the MacWorld Expo. Tick tock, tick tock. (Frankly, given the timesink that PC-users have portrayed this sim to be, I'm not sure I'm that anxious for the release. As though I needed another distraction...)

With 20 PCs in use for every Mac in the hands of hobbyists, you have to expect that the developers of recreational software will concentrate on the PC. Because that's where the money is.

It's hard to feel sorry sorry a Mac user complaining about the lack of games. What did Steve Jobs lie to you or something? You knew they never got games when you bought it.

Hey I used to own an Amiga and I understand somewhat. The economics of the games industry is not going to change. All you can expect is what dribbles out from the overflowing cup of PC gaming.

Bradlands is right. Think of all the productivity you'll maintain.

The topic started with The Sims and devolved into a classic argument over whether PC or MAC is better. God, I JUST LOVE TOPIC DRIFT! It's amazing! =)
