The greatest pictures ever.

The greatest pictures ever. According to the refined aesthetes from SomethingAwful, that is. Surprisingly, it isn't altogether unsafe for work, illegal or ultra-offensive as long as you stay on the path.
Oh the hilarity of it all! Please tell me that the old woman on page 3 isn't real. Yeesh.

As a side note, do not EVER attempt to steal SA's images. I mean, you can copy them to your drive and whatnot, but if you try to steal their bandwidth by loading a picture they host on your site, then really bad stuff happens.

Also, you shouldn't link to Something Awful if you're Slashdot. Apparently, Slashdot did that once, and they opened up a very, very wide pipe for all the traffic.... (I suppose no link is truly necessary)
Needless to say, Slashdot won't be linking to SA anytime soon.

cooke, that shaved cat truly is the best innernet picture and the only one that I did actually laugh at. Chortle.

When Lowtax farts, his goons hurriedly drop to their knees to get a whiff. The place has a cult-like feel to it. I visit everyday.

The Coleman/Hasselhoff picture has that weird historical pop reference feel to it. You'll never get them together again for a picture in front of KITT, and they'll never be as popular as they were at THAT moment.
The late-20th/early-21st century equivalent would probably be have been David Duchovney (X-Files stud) and Jake Lloyd (kid who played a young Darth Vader) standing in front of the "I Want to Believe" poster.
I remember the Peoples Almanac (or was it Book of Lists) that had a selection of meetings you'd never thought would have happened but did. I'll have to go look it up to see if there was anything interesting there....

I noticed that guy hanging off the hardpoint of that F-16, and it reminded me of this picture...which in turn reminded me of my all-time favorite funny military photo.

My favorite part of goatse.cx is that the 'Receiver' is wearing a wedding ring. It adds an almost subliminal level of offense for the guys who feel like they've Caught the Gay by seeing it.

I asked on sci.military.naval, but nobody's owned up to knowing any kind of backstory to the car taking off from the Enterprise (CVN-65). If anybody here can add details, I'd love to read 'em.
