I don't think it's better or worse. I was prepared to post one of those "good gracious, I'm losing faith in humanity posts" when I realized that voting for her based on the incentive she's offered is roughly equivalent to voting based on the amount of actual information or exposition of ideaology given out in most campaigns. I know a guy who ran for student body president at a private university which had about 15,000 students at the time. His campaign consisted of running around in a gorilla suit, promising insane things that were obviously not true. His point was to mock the institution of student government. He won... because as it turned out, that was the opinion of the populace at large. Stuff like this works because there are lots of people who consider the political process a joke. Not sure it's that far from the truth.
