In response to the Tardblog, Dave Barry starts his own. Ha ha! Kidding. I love Dave, really. However I'm not sure if its actually him. I think its actually Harry Anderson of Night Court fame. via fark

It's either Dave, or someone who's devoted his life to pretending to be him. Hey, wait a minute...

...okay, you can stop waiting now.

I was just kidding, it is him, it's linked from the main davebarry.com page.

Oh, and Definitely do what he says and read the NSA Document 27 about "Acoustic Kitty":

In a project known as “Acoustic Kitty” the Directorate of Science and Technology sought to train a surgically altered cat, wired with transmitting and control devices, to become a mobile, eavesdropping platform. In its first test, the cat was run over by a taxi.

Well, I think it's obvious they all built some kind of blog-powered steam-engine time machine and went back in time to scoop me on this meme that I got from Fark. And also, to kill Hitler.

It is an odd thing, that weblog, what with those frolicking puppies, and the color scheme, but it is better than his "kerosene powered" page (also linked).

Mr. Barry doesn't give a hoot about a blog, he already has his own world, and he doesn't have to publish any of that himself. This is for fun.

He probably has no idea that everybody and their internet in-laws are reading it.

Fark is going to kill Hitler? Where does Will Wheaton fit into all of this?

Yes, that's what I meant, too, Stan. I thought it was implicit.

The puppies, apparently, are the fault of Ken Layne -- who doesn't know Dave personally, actually, but gave a fellow journalist entree into the blog world. Thank Ghu he switched to blogspot -- that worldcrossing thing was insane. Imagine if that were the only software any of us could use to blog -- the medium would have been stillborn.

Somebody brought up Harry Anderson and the Dave's World TV show, but does anybody remember DeLane Matthews who played Dave's wife?

She was hot.

I'm just sayin'.
