That's a pretty strong declaration of what happened aboard that plane that I have never heard before. Did I miss something, or is this just poetic license?

Irontom: Amazing. That was exactly what struck me. It colored everything else I read. The journalists who wrote that story have written a few other 9/11 articles. A quick review of their easily accessible work didn't turn up earlier examples of that phrase.

A CIA agent was so agitated about the group's activities that German authorities at one point told him that they would throw him out of the country if he continued to make a nuisance of himself by demanding the Germans do something. Wouldn't this mean that Germany is aiding and "harboring" terrorists? Why aren't they part of the "axis" of evil? Shouldn't we be bombing them next, after Afghanistan, instead of Iraq? Would that go over well?

I think seeing "Germany" and "axis" in the same paragraph would send most German politicians over the edge. But yeah, I thought thought the article made some interesting leaps.
