I'd say the idea is better than the results. Also, he might want to . . . ahem . . . change his voicemail password. Cough cough.

Interesting idea, but not well executed. The video belongs on local public access.

It probably would have been easier to accompany if:

- He had started each phrase one way, not three (technically four) different ways.
- He didn't have an extra measure at the start of the third phrase.
- He'd played in time.

Poor Danica. At least she gave it a try.

Sounds like something I'd have done in college. With about the same results I would have gotten.

Interesting idea, but not well executed.</i>

Exactly. Maybe outlawyr and VelvetHellvis should take their thumbs and do a TV show together, reviewing movies.

That would require removing my thumb from my a**, something I'm just not willing to do at this time. (Although it would make typing a heck of a lot easier

cool idea. i agree the presentation could be improved, but as a proof of concept piece it works very well.

maybe he needs to work with some visual artists or someone else who can think of ways to make the performance more interesting looking/smoother (not that I suppose music academicians care too much about that, as usually i see them closing their eyes anyhow).

also: i was surprised that there wasn't anyone doing a little acapella type thing "DOO DOO DOO DOOT DOOT" -- i mean, that's what I expected: people singing or humming a melody, not actually playing instruments.

lastly, it would've been interesting as a layered piece, if he sampled and looped all the results he had received and then composed with them (probably he could have cheated a bit and ended with a cleaner composition, if that was the goal).

I'll be checking back at this site to see what the next iteration is like.
