She has no real power over her wealth it is controlled by the institutions her grandfather set up long ago, the best thing she can do is nothing at all why take any risks she is set for life and the lawyers and bankers are all designed to do just that, preserve the money and take no risk. I feel sorry for her she'll never feel the thrill of having nothing to loose and thus never experience success. Her dreams of being in the Olympics could come true that would be the best thing for her.

Lessee... That's a bit more than 1/20th of what Bush budgets for Medicare reform. Half what he's budgeting for bioterrorist immunization vaccines and treatments. Almost half of what he's got going toward peacekeeping, and a fifth of that for economic foreign aid. About equal to what he's proposing to use to help Africa combat AIDS each year. Two and a quarter times what he budgeted for hydrogen research. Four-and-a-half times what he's putting towards drug treatment programs. Six times more than he proposes for helping mentor the disadvantaged. Any way you slice it, either she's one immensely wealthy kid... or Bush is one terribly stingy scrooge! (Hint: it's both. Bush has budgeted S.F.A. for the above-mentioned, when compare to the trillions going toward the military and the hundreds and hundreds of millions going toward the treasury and other government operations.)

Considering what having all that loot did for Christina (her mother) I really feel sorry for this kid. Seriously. She has a 29 year old boyfriend who more than likely sees her as a "cash cow"-she will never know what it is like to be SURE she is liked/loved for herself instead of her riches.

Her boyfriend's interest might be related to her net worth? Well, OK — that's true of anyone who isn't homeless. How many of you would date a career McDonald's employee, or a chronic welfare recipient? It sucks, but it's nothing special. And it would be nice to have an island, although I think I'd do without the jet; airships are cooler.
