The Met Museum has an online gallery exploring the work of Da Vinci. It allows you to zoom in and out on specific parts of a work thus enabling minute exploration. It's stuff like this that makes the web indispensable.

Great stuff. This ameliorates my disappointment in not being able to drag this particular "sack for food" down to the museum to see it in person.

cool zoom in feature. i'm actually supposed to go down to the met to see this next weekend, and this almost makes me think i don't have to. but there's just something about seeing the actual paper that'll never be replaced.
