The Chuck Hagel voting machine ownership story gets even scarier. In today's Best of the Blogs, Jerry Bowles reveals more bizarre details about the Chuck Hagel/voting machine story, including the fact that the majority ownership stake in the voting machine company that counted Senator Hagel's upset victory in 1996 (and his reelection in 2002) is held by a man long associated with the radical organization Christian Reconstruction, which believes in overturning democracy and replacing it with a Christian theocracy. This is really weird and frightening stuff, if it checks out.

Yeah, I'd seen the link in the earlier post about Hagel in another context, but when I saw this new stuff about Christian Reconstruction, etc., it shocked me even more than the original story. It seemed unique enough to warrant a separate thread.

Those who would face execution include not only gays but a very long list of others: blasphemers, heretics, apostate Christians, people who cursed or struck their parents, females guilty of 'unchastity before marriage,' 'incorrigible' juvenile delinquents, adulterers, and (probably) telephone psychics. And that's to say nothing of murderers and......" No comment....... Well, OK - this puts Hitler to shame. The Spanish Inquisition ("We have three weapons, and our weapons are three....") got a fantastic body count merely from the "heretic" charge...about 60%? can't you jack it up a little? We're looking for depopulation, folks...can't you do 91%?

Wasn't it Stalin who said it is who counts the votes that matters? Good to see our "Christian" fundamentalists are hard at work assisting with the destruction of democracy. Couldn't let their Islamic counterparts have all the fun imposing death sentences upon all who disagree with them. How soon can we get these machines installed in Florida? Tell me again which political party is representing these bozos? Oh! I see now! As Instapundit would say they must then be "objectively pro-theocracy."
