What's wrong with these pictures?

What's wrong with these pictures? I thought I knew at least a little bit about art until I took this quiz. That, plus the blurb about spider-goats (eew!) makes me think that maybe decaf isn't strong enough to kick-start my brain this Friday morning.

Hee Hee! Just what I needed!

Might be easier if I could actually see the paintings. They're miniscule!

CD - if you could see the paintings any better, then you could play "spot the photoshop". If they're tiny like that, then the changes look more natural.

thanks a lot! now i feel like an idiot! just kidding, but i only got 2/5.... i guess i am an idiot... damn..

Hey! I got them all! That totally makes up for my poor showing on the arse or elbow quiz. (potentially NSW)

3/5 - and I'm art-illiterate.

4 out of 5 for me, but who gives a damn about the Mona Lisa? Huh?

By the by, isn't that spider-goat bit old news by now?

Ah, this says nothing about how much one actually knows about art. It's more about how carefully one actually looks at things. Was fun, though.

typical multiple choice... thought I knew the answer for sure, until I looked at the four options. anyone for a little friday morning standardized testing?

5/5.. that probably makes me a better person than the rest of you. Or something like that.

4/5, and you're right, mikrophon, no one cares about Mona, least of all me.

3/5, pretty good for someone who is most certainly NOT a morning person. Besides, who the hell ever looks at the Mona Lisa's hands? Oh, and thanks for the goat pic, now I'm going to be humming "Spiderman" all day.

...Spidergoat, Spidergoat, friendly neighborhood Spidergoat...

Unlike jennyb I did much better in the arse/elbow quiz than in the pictures one, where I only got 2/5. A 12/14 score in the former entitles one to the comment you must be a machine!

0/5, baby, 0/5. Now THAT is downright impressive. Seriously, though, the magazine looks kinda cool.

...Spidergoat, Spidergoat, friendly neighborhood Spidergoat... If only I were talented at animation...

But seriously, what Hollywood up-and-comer would play the part of Spidergoat?

Ben Affleck.

4/5. I feel so powerful. Wilt before my mighty brain, thou lesser mortals!

3/5, but I already knew I'm just an uncultured boor.

I spent weeks doing a reproduction of the Van Gogh self-portrait for an art class, and I STILL got it wrong.

5/5 for me. But I get to see one in person whenever I want.

5/5. Only got the Van Gogh through process of elimination, though. Also, I would like to announce that this is my first Mefi comment posted with alcohol in my system. Irrelevant, but I think it makes the score more impressive. Or something. Ignore me.
