lies, threats, a lost identity and the internet: "[This site] will officially be shut down when all the lie sites about me are shut down and have been gone for 1 year, including all archives, caches, etc, and the AT&T Broad Band AOL user stops coming around me and threatening me and when Katy stops stealing my journal entries through her hand held internet and anonymous proxies."

The discussion of the veracity of What a Cute! got me thinking about the topic of "fake" weblogs. I notice no one is keeping a list anywhere. How many identities online are overtly constructed, I wonder?

So, she submitted a change of address form and got his credit card bill. That's mail fraud and has nothing to do with the net. I can't find what he claims the postal investigators did (or didn't do), but that federal rap alone should have put her in prison.

It also seems that the woman who was "stalking" her, Katy, was also behind the Kaycee Nicole hullaballoo. Sounds like Katy/Kaycee needs a new hobby.

after reading that, is anyone else under the impression that the writer is now more obsessed than the stalker?

That crazy women is back? You would think that she learned her lesson the first time. This lady seems to have watched too many episodes of 'The Pretender.'

ho hum. when will people realize that the internet is a magnet for kooks, insane people, and general weirdos?

triv: It's very difficult for victims of stalking not to fall into that trap. They become so concerned with trying to stop the stalking they over-document their life. Mainly they're looking for ways to block the stalker.

Plus, the police want as much proof as possible, but are overworked. So the victim must do a lot of the legwork if he/she expects to have the proof.

crunchland: I think people realize that. But, remember, your local park, mall, playground, and street are also a "magnet for kooks, insane people, and general weirdos." It's easy to call the police when you're accosted in those locations.

Those who are stalked online are often faced with the extra burden of proving they deserve help.

oh for fuck's sake this is getting ridiculous. all these websites are fakes, they were created by the stalker in order to turn her story around. none of those people listed as "stalkers" are imaginary people or stalkers at all. they are real people that have had their names and information twisted around by the actual stalker in question.

"Those who are stalked online are often faced with the extra burden of proving they deserve help."

and not only that - but we're also faced with the burden of where to turn since nobody seems to want to help us or cant help us.
