I feel violated, but still am glad the one's updated their page. It's been awhile. The mouseover text is hilarious, as always. posted by WolfDaddy at 2:02 PM on February 10, 2003

So it's now ok for hipster web desginers in The Marxist Republic of San Francisco to make post-modern visual jokes involving the horrible deaths of people in the World Trade Center? That's good to know.
Even if I agreed with the sentiments behind such a thing (or, indeed if I could figure out what the sentiments are), I wouldn't like it. It's the lowest form of political (Is it political?) satire, and expresses only cynicism, nihilism, and mean-spiritedness. Not to mention being fucking ugly as sin.
But hey! We're post-modern! We don't need no steenkin' beauty! posted by sir walsingham at 2:44 PM on February 10, 2003

I agree with everything sir walsingham says, but non-sarcastically. love it. It has a certain Anarco-dada-Japano-mescaline je-ne-sais-quoi to it. Like a still-life animutation. it probably also mocks millions that died under mao, but that's long ago and they're not americans, so i don't blame you for ignoring them (just in case you wondered if it was ok to do that). please also note that under the bleeding patriotic hearts trying to make others feel bad convention of 1967 i have now won this game and you owe me a pony posted by andrew cooke at 3:31 PM on February 10, 2003
