One thing about the internet I would never have expected (but probably should have) is sites like this. It's like this woman I see in Georgetown, who has a 3' x 5' piece of posterboard with her case against the government (Clinton, aliens, nazis, etc.) written in really small block lettering. I'd read it, but she starts yelling at anyone who stops near her. If she had a webhost, she'd make sites like this. On a related note, Rob Cockerham [cockeyed.com] has done a photo-essay based around signs left by a man in Sacramento with a similar outlook on the world.

Re: Leigh Roth and the Zihuatanejo Connection: We had a wonderful stay inZihuatanejo in one of Leigh's properties. It turned out to be a great place to stay. Leigh, though a bit eccentric as you will find out if you meet her, was totally above aboard with us and made sure we had everything we needed. I think she's had a very interesting life and would love to sit down and talk with her for a while. I'm probably alone in thinking that she's nowhere near as crazy-sounding in person as she comes across on screen. Either way, she definitely has some issues...if only she knew how to make her issues better designed for the internet, perhaps she would be taken more seriously.

it looks as though it is an annotated discussion. There are at least two maybe three voices speaking. I wonder if this evolved from a communication the author received and then dialogued with (the writing in yellow). The most intriguing part is the image of the two nearly identical sisters. The doubling reminds me of David Lynch, Mulholland Drive and Lost Highway.

She seems like a very interesting person. I will most likely dig later and see if I can find anything else. The web archive was not particularly helpful. I am not so sure that she has any sort of problems (re: sanity) but she does have a very unique way of expressing herself on the web. Either that or she has a wicked sense of humor and is living under a bridge. Not that the latter is not valid expression as well.

The real story, or what seems to be the real story, is on this page, where a doctor describes how cysts in her bladder caused frequent severe pain for her over 14 years and eventually caused her to become addicted to painkillers. That by itself, wouldn't have caused her eccentric behavior, but it sure as hell would make anyone crazy. To go through all this and still have a joy for life, a sense of humor and the willingness to say what the hell, I'll do what I feel is admirable, even if she's got some lingering bitterness. Sure she's unconventional, sure she's got a bad habit of washing out her dirty laundry in public, but anyone who's her friend is probably very lucky. My first impression was that she was an incoherent nut, but it did make sense once I looked around a little. People like her are rare treasures if you can stand them.
