"Yes, I'll have the McGreenBeans and a side of McOven Roasted Chicken", McDonald's Corporation announced today that it has completed its acquisition of the Boston Market business and has named two executive officers to lead the business, effective immediately.

This is actually pretty interesting. Boston Market, aka Boston Chicken, back in the day, was one of the first of the recent breed of highly publicized IPOs. For a time it was flying very high. The restaurants always got great reviews, too, but it wasn't enough, the stock tanked, and they ran out of money.

Now they'll be part of one of the best-managed restaurant franchisers on the planet. Could be a second wind for them.
