I tried to read the entire linked article, but it is incredibly dry and boring and awful. Could you please focus our attention a bit? Is there something I'm not noticing? Is there a topic? Is there some context which can give meaning to this filler?

Please tell me that you didn't post this just for the title.

It wasn't that good an article, and really had nothing to do with sex at Yale (where I graduated from recently.)

y6y6y6 and others: I thought the subject, the treatment, the whole article was hillarious; the humor dry, as I prefer it. With due respect, I didn't realize the reading comprehension level of some Mefites. My apologies for the enormous strain you were almost subjected to.
