Very nice. I give it two thumbs up! Too bad a site like this for Windows software would have way too many software to review each day.

Hey, I did my part... (realizing the tone of my previous post was not nearly sarcastic enough)

From the site: Using Opera is like slipping on a comfortable pair of shoes, and then discovering that your formerly comfortable shoes have been surreptitiously filled with broken glass. As you make this realization, a troupe of baboons rounds the corner, baring and snapping their grisly teeth. They howl and begin to chase you. Knowing you’re the only fresh meat for miles, you start running from this horrible Ape Menace, suspecting that you have somehow fallen into the hands of the Global Monkey Conspiracy. As the simian horde draws closer, in your desperate panic to get away, you slide into a steep ravine. As you strike bottom, you awake, in bed. It was all a dream. You are safe, asleep, and your computer has only non-Opera browsers installed.

In the words of Lisa Simpson: "Why would people show up just to boo us?" Spending your time crafting a website about stuff that you think sucks is just bad karma.

You just described a whole swath of weblogs.

Don't you mean disappointed? :-)

Why do many of these "caustic review" sort of websites use such unwieldy metaphors for "bad" (or other things)? Are they supposed to be so forced--is that part of the humor?

like a limp tapeworm drowned in a bowl of garlic-curry stew

like an unexpected wasp in your hip flask

like slipping on a comfortable pair of shoes, and then discovering that your formerly comfortable shoes have been surreptitiously filled with broken glass

etc. Just wonderin'...

I think it's part of the humor. While I was reading the site, I was struck how much it sounded like Something Awful (but I like 'em both, so hey). Shoot, you could probably write a generic bad-review-generator — just plug in some nouns and go!

How could you not have the zenith of terrible, useless Mac software: Jared, Butcher of Song?! It's blasphemy!

Good site, though.
