These are a huge fad in Japan right now (or were last year, when I was there, at any rate)-- toys of dogs with gigantic heads, as well as pictures of dogs through fish-eye lenses. A little searching turned up an English web site; they sell a lot of different products including candy, wallets, cell phone straps, and packs of tissue.
