That first story was so dumbfoundingly boring that I immediately left. Please get back to us on how much reading Other People's Stories enriches your life as opposed to making your own.

Well, I liked it. I am fascinated by overheard conversations - even if they're completely mundane, there's a thrill in getting an unintended view of someone else's life.
And I think the "get a life" stuff is a harsh accusation to make for simply visiting a website, ttrendel. I mean, please tell us about all the valid, enriching life experiences you get from clicking on the morally superior links here on Metafilter. ;-)

I enjoyed it as well. A while ago, I started an online communal writing project that didn't really pan out, so I'm always glad to see one that does.
