The World as Blog : A flash visualization locating recent blog updates on a world map, combining RSS, Weblogs.com, and GeoURL. Gadgety. Neat. Via MingTV, whom I located through another awesome new social-networking gewgaw, Blog Matcher.

Of course, continents other than North America aren't too well represented. Maybe because it's night in Asia.

It is a small group of blogs that ping weblogs.com and have an RSS link on and GeoURL tags on their site, but it's a very cool idea.

Too bad it doesn't work in Mozilla. Of course, neither does ESPN*

* ESPN wrote back to me recently to state that the ONLY browser they support is MSIE.
