Digital Photography Challenge

Like digital photography? Think you're good at it? DPChallenge offers amateur photographers the opportunity to compete in a free weekly challenge. Users submit digital photos of a certain challenge topic, taken that week, and then vote (and leave feedback) on all the other submissions during the following week, allowing aspiring digital photographers to find out just where they rank, and how to improve their skills. (And if you'd like, you can buy prints of some of your favorite entries.)

There's also a weekly members only challenge if you shell out $25 a year to be a member. I've really enjoyed this site as a way of improving my photography skills since I picked up digital photography as a hobby last summer.

My sister has no formal training (or informal for that matter) in Photography, but she seems to have an inate sense of it and has come up with some real quality pics.

Nice link. Thanks, Wingy.

But haven't you heard? Digital Sucks. (sorry.)

Interestingly, your digital sucks site really isn't mostly about digital actually sucking. The one page that does argue that digital sucks is either very outdated, not meant to be taken seriously, or flat out inaccurate, even suggesting that digital cameras are incapable of taking shots with motion blurs.
But, ignoring the implied agenda of digital cleansing the site puts forth, I enjoy that fact that people experiment with low end technology as well.
