I just discovered that yesterday (you beat me to it, ubueditor!) and it's my favorite new photo meme. I find it surprisingly interesting to look at how people's faces change, and how they don't.

You know what's weird, is that people (dataset=1, me) have such a difficult time imagining what a person looked like when they were younger (if you didn't know them then). I can look at a 25 year old and visualize how they'll look at 70, no problem. But looking at an older person, I just cannot see the younger person in there, try as I might. Probably why sites like this one are so fascinating.

Thanks for this. It exudes a strange, yet appealing sense of melancholy. It's so interesting (/heartbreaking/amusing) to see the comments people make about their own attractiveness. I think everyone comes to a point in their lives when looking back on their youth becomes a somewhat bittersweet experience.

Memory is a strange thing. I have some rescued super-8 reels from my childhood and it's so odd seeing myself in those films, since I have few specific recollections about that time in my life. MrBaliHai, you summed it up nicely. This is one of my favorites. This one made me smile.
