heh! stuff like this is sort of compelling. there is a guy who has daily pics of his family going back over years. you can watch the kids grow while the parents age. it's depressing! and the other day i saw 'time lapse' pages a woman made of her recluse spider bite healing. (i hope to god i never meet a recluse spider after seeing that!) i wish i had done this with my tracker. over 2 years and 50,000 miles later, it looks radically different. the molding is defenestrated. there are numerous dents, dings and scrapes. i love that damn thing!

I always enjoy this kind of project more when it's executed with control: the same framing of the eye with the same lighting and exposure every time. Something you could string together and animate.

I see brown recluse spiders on an almost-daily basis. If I am up late at night I sometimes wander around with a flashlight and some toilet paper and flush any that I find. They tend to come out after dark and I like to keep them thinned out. I have been trying to eliminate areas that bugs and spiders can get into the house ever since I got up one morning and found a dead recluse underneath my shoulder. I had on a thick t-shirt, thank the heavens. So no bite.

Holy moley, that BRS page is the scariest thing I have seen in a long time. I realized about 2/3rd of the way through that my knuckles were white from gripping the arm of the chair.

I had a staph infection that almost cost me my hand that was almost bad as those BRS bites, but without the widespread necrosis. If I ever suspect I've been bitten, I'm printing out the stun-gun and nitro protocols and taking 'em with me to the ER. If the physician refuses to listen, I'm walking out & going to the next ER I can find.
