Doll for auction on Ebay? It's haunted too? Don't even leave its pictures on my hard drive, you say? Well then...Firewalls at full-throttle, crew!

See, there's your problem...the doll is set to "EVIL!"

Heh.

Shit. I downloaded & viewed the two .MPG files, and now my keyboard is seriously misbehaving. Skipping letters, slow response. WTF?/

Over two hundred dollars for a bit of stained cloth and cracked pot?

I'd rather buy, erm, well anything.

The seller must be laughing hysterically at the fact that someone bought the doll for over $200; I'm sure he made quite a nice profit.

Oh, and I just have to say it: EbayFilter

/me ducks and runs

Go ahead and laugh while the haunted dolls take over our realm.

Anybody else notice that the two video clips are exactly the same? The first one has the doll's hand allegedly moving. The second clip is the exact same one, with the exact same slight hand movement, only he's added in the "ghost voice" in the background.

Complete your eBay family of fun.
errmmm - I think I may sleep with the light left on tonight...

I got no video at all. I thought that was supposed to be some 'haunted server by association' or something as lame to make some vulnerable shlub give this sorry excuse for a story a closer listening.

but I did click on the links, so...

I think the scariest thing might be the title of the auction:
"HAUNTED Composition baby doll NOT SOLD why?"

Ah, the eyes, the eyes!! They burn into my soul!

Heh, this just confirms that I'm highly suggestible, and/or I love a good scary story. When that haunted painting went around, I really freaked out: home alone, 3AM lights off, intriguing description, all fodder for a truly frightening experience.

I now visit Fortean Time's message board to keep up with all supposed paranormal happenings.

I take it that pediophobes should avoid these auctions?

Always hated dolls as a kid, myself. And paintings of anything with eyes.

I'm sure this is somehow related to that supposedly scary haunted ebay painting.

I would suggest staying away from museums and art galleries in general. even the Mona Lisa, I have it on good authority, has a couple of eyes.

And the Pieta's got 4.

ah, yes... the Pieta: or, as it is better known in the art world, "old four eyes". Thomas j. wise, for minimal viewing discomfort, may I direct you toward a couple examples of "old one-eye" art? Please see Greek one-eye and Egyptian one-eye.

oh, and for the doll problem, the Cyclops Organ Bear, of course, with "snap-on organs". The snap-on organs should distract your attention from the eye...

Surely it's no more haunting than a Dean Martin Hand Puppet?

Er, I said as a kid. One does outgrow these things.

Lots of paintings with eyes in my house. Even a couple of dolls :)

Love the Pieta--one of my all-time favorite statues.

[Hey, wait a minute...is that Disraeli engraving looking at me?]

I just thought this was kind of funny until I saw my name in the Ananova GIF (right side, two-thirds of the way down).

Now I want my mommy.

I think it's hilarious that he gave the original seller negative feedback, on account of him not saying it was haunted.

Paul - don't be afraid. Doll wants to be your friend and to be with you. For always...
