I wonder how manga & science fiction affects the vision of the scientists in Japan.. hell, how does popular culture & science fiction shape science here in the US? Well, there was that Boba Fett robot a while back.

On another note, I was trying to talk to my dad today about how much I hate SUV's, and he was just like "there's a lotta things wrong with the world ...".
