A fairly brutal BBS update from Courtney, who gets my vote for the kicked-in-the-teeth award this month: "I posted on my bbs that I was going back to sacramento tonight. Then I was told Dex and Jenni were having sex on cam again and damn.. .. I can't do it.. I can't go back there. It's not my home any longer. I could never step foot in the backyard again, of the very least, the carcus of dex and jen's last little party still lay strewn across the yard. I can't be in that house, knowing what is happening around the way. I have to let it go. I have to let the control that this situation has over me go, .. for my own health or i'll break. And then.. that means I've lost all control. So.. she can have it all. My man, my backyard, my neighborhood. I wasn't ment to have it. I'll be back sometime this week to find a place and pack. I hope I'll be able to keep my dog. I miss her. I miss home." Ouch.

"She's funny, she's gorgeous, she's got better furniture." I *love* that. It will be interesting to see how this plays out; Jenni's always come off (no pun intended) as a pretty nice girl, if a bit flighty. I attribute this to stupidity, not to malice.

The thing of it is, that if you check out Last Week At Jenni's Place, you'll notice that most of the excitement of the cam is either: - Jenni sitting at her computer - An empty chair - A smidgeon of nudity Now, why the hell should I shell out $15 a year if I'm only getting a SMIDGEON of nudity?!?!? COME ON! And yeah, Thirteen, I caved. This is what happens when work is slow. "Well, I suppose I could always see if anything's on MetaFilter..." I'm led to believe that crack addiction occurs in much the same manner. You're bored at work, and you just think, "Maybe I need some crack." The next thing you know, you're sucking the glass dick, looking like Chris Rock in New Jack City, hating yourself and watching Jenni floss.

Oh, no, aaron, I never go look on my own eitehr. (The very idea!) Really, I got bored, mainly because she remained (as one journalist put it) a feckless college girl trying to live an invented life. The sad thing is, this business is all too real. One person's already been hurt, and I can't see this sleazeball being any more faithful to Jenni that to Courtney. She's driven her friends away, embarassed herself deeply, revealed an appalling lack of character. Adults don't do this to other adults. (I know that it happens all the time. I mean real adults.)
