Fascism in the USA

Fascism in the USA. The man's just asking, almost reasonably, on the basis of daily news (see below). What will it take? When will we know? A Bush re-election?
This post was deleted for the following reason: a goofy op-ed
This is an op-ed.

A Bush re-election?
This isn't a foregone conclusion?
Imagine other historical examples of fascism. What makes this one the craziest is that people could still stop it, if they wanted to. I think that a lot of Americans are geared up for the never-ending war against nothing (the War on Terror). I even heard someone on TV use the phrase "final solution", though in fairness she clearly had no idea what she was talking about.

But, if we are opining:
President Bush's contention that America went to war with Iraq to rid Saddam Hussein of hidden biological and chemical weapons "could be the greatest intelligence hoax of all time," the ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee warned Friday.

I think a third Bush term, actually, would be the trigger.
If Bush eschews or changes the laws to that extent, then yes, the presidency has become a regime. Despite what Clinton wants.

People have been saying this kind of stuff over and over again. Everyone keeps saying that dissent has been stifled.
Anyone else see the irony in that?

regementation
I have trouble believing that a real dictionary would make a misspelling.
