A TOY (paper) ROBOT!!!!!
June 19, 2003 9:37 AM   Subscribe

Roll Fold your own giant paper robots! Many delightful designs, including the Whale-Copter(?), the Kanga-Bot, and a suprisingly familiar little guy. Hours of fun, at least until you pass out from blood loss following massive paper cuts. (Link courtesy Pixelsurgeon by way of Veer.)

If you like that, check out Yamaha's paper craft.

If you attempt these, be patient. Be excruciatingly patient. Be obsessive and then be more patient. Use a ruler and an X-acto blade and a glue stick and whatever else they recommend.

Because in the end, when the penguin's feet end up lopsided you're going to have to suck it up, because you won't want to go through it twice.

They look pretty cool when they're finished, though.

There's a Patlabor one! Oh, joy of geeky anime joys. I want to build it so badly!

...this said, how the heck do you build it? I've never built a paper model before. The PDF has the name of each part, but not instructions on how they go together, so I guess I'll have to experiement... ^___^

That penguin is nothing compared to the Gorilla.
