The tiny Picture Book Of Foods is an invaluable resource for true foodies everywhere. Learn where many of your favorite foods really come from. There are also growing secrets, educational cross-sections, and recipe tips. And pancakes.

iconomy - this is great, as usual, but, uh, "learn" may be putting it too strongly... the fanciful illustrations seem to have more silliness than actual information - not that they'res anything wrong with that. I'm pretty sure that pancake syrup doesn't come from a flower.

And what's goin' on here? I think that page belongs over on this thread, or this one.

Oh what an adorable book - I read the whole thing cover to cover. Hmmm, I am not sure about the plot tho - I think maybe it should be pared back a bit, just a slice here or there ;-)

looks like a good laugh, but seems a shame the pages are so small.

soyjoy, I was kidding. You can't honestly think I believe that pineapple syrup comes from ponds, or that M&Ms come from chocolate beans. Or can you?

Yes, dear. *pats soyjoy tenderly on head*

A tender pat on the head from iconomy! Ha! It worked!

In your face, y2karl!

If I ever have a band it will be called Profitable Fruit in honor of this page.

Another triumph for the 14k users, PinkStainlessTail -- I was just thinking that what the world obviously needs is a group called Colorful Onion.

Enchanting, Iconomy. My favorite was the supergrape.

The artist seems to be a kindred spirit of the illustrator of the cover of Neutral Milk Hotel's In The Aeroplane Over The Sea.
