Starting with episode 40 Rainbowman has to battle both the Shine Shine Dan and Iquana's mother God Iquana who needs his blood to bring Iquana back to life.

Well, that explains Flagtroth's betrayal of Ifftang in episode 18, (the uncompromised first edition preferred by the director), but it still doesn't account for Vomave's blood boils in the Wrath of the Mother Zombie. And, also, what happened to his flying cat?

Could somebody account for this discrepancy?

". . . All people are friends and that is the way it is.
However, there are those who would like to change this
And that is the reason for me...Rainbowman. . .
For no matter what becomes of me,
My heart and mind know what is just.
Over the seas and anywhere I am needed, I go.
I can never stop and never turn back.
That is the reason why I continue...Rainbowman."

- Warrior of Love Rainbowman theme song

oh Rainbowman, where are you now that we need you!

Catchy, but those lyrics just don't quite measure up to the Bouncy Gamera Song

Damn you, MrBaliHai. Damn you to the molten cores of a thousand suns! Now I must put on my little pants and have adventures with my giant space turtle friend. For at heart I am a child, and as we all know "Gamera is a friend to all children."
