And you thought real bubble wrap was fun this digital bubble wrap never runs out and is 17% more awesometacular! Manic mode turns that fun knob way up past 11. Hot damn.

now theres a thing - take an act of pleasure, the sheer enjoyment of which is based on auditory and tactile experience, remove both and present it as something better than the original - eh what?

Y'know, when I saw this the other day & thought 'Hey, maybe those crazy kids at MeFi would like to see this', I put 'bubble wrap' into the MeFi search box & got this. Which showed that this had already appeared with lots of virtual bubble wrap (including the above).

Anyways, no harm done but double post. Better luck for your second FPP Phlops ;-)

Oooh!

1) Turn on CD (In this case "The Like")
2) Set phasers to "Manic Mode"
3) Pop away to the beat of the song

Is it Friday yet?

Speaking personally, long ago I graduated from single-popping, though multi-popping and on to roll it up and wring it like a neck mega-popping. But perhaps I have revealed too much. I'm with carfilhiot. Meh.

I always thought that a good radio contest prize would be that you get to drive a steamroller over an area of bubblewrap the size of a basketball court.

George: I'm thinking the steam roller might just drown out the popping of the wrap. Maybe just a push roller?

who cares if it was a repeat? it was fun and there is nothing more exciting and fresh then a bunch of people using the same cliches to remind the person it was a dupe.

over a football field would provide more fun.

Nah, go after it with the shoes that make you jump higher (the ones with the big flat part under the toes).

Holy shit, I just spent a few minutes popping all the bubbles on that page.

I need a life

You guys: this is a page with virtual bubble-wrap that you can pop. It is not supposed to blow you away. If it doesn't blow you away, you don't have to tell us that it doesn't.

This is still my favorite on line bubble wrap. It's got a pleasant sound, and I prefer to race through it rather than pop one bubble at a time.

nice.

and all put together in one frame via some pretty simple actionscript also... that would make a great fullscreen background for a website, if you could have things lie over buttons and block the user from activiating them in flash

Hildago: Of course you are right. Discussing/sharing our thoughts on a link goes against everything MeFi is about!

'awesometacular' : no.

poptacular?
wraptacular?
snaptacular?

Yeah, baby! It's all about the music of the word, especially if you're going for the mock-mad-avenue irony vote.

I wouldn't snark, but I saw this or something like it several years ago, so I'm in a generally snarktacular mood.
