"It's time for people to show their cards." Ostensibly modeled after these, and perhaps a step up in quality from these, they look to face competiton from these. A game of Texas Hold 'em, anyone?

These are perhaps even nicer...but why not collect them all?

"Each complete deck features accurate and illuminating facts about 52 Bush administration officials and their closest cohorts, plus two jokers."

If there's only two jokers, then it's not a full deck.

Well, at least they made Bush one of the jokers...

A trend that should never have been born refuses to die.

For a while back in the 80's, everyone in Seattle had an opinion-usually negative-about Brian Bosworth, all star college running back-turned-Seahawks number one draft pick. His shaved hair and nasty demeanor instantly elevated him to media darling...er...target. People even went so far as to produce "I Hate the Boz" t-shirts and sell them in the Kingdome parking lot before games.

I always thought the guy was dumb, until I learned a few years ago that the producer of the t-shirts was none other than the Boz himself.

Boz was a linebacker, not a running back. And I thought the bigger reason he was hated was that he was supposed to be a superstar, but turned out to be a complete bust who was more concerned about his own fame and image than actually playing football.

Dude! I use my Icy Manipulator to tap your Serra Angel. What a question.

I tell your future with the tarot, mon!

In all seriousness, considering that the modern card deck was derived from Tarot, which was designed, apparently, to tell stories about Mary Magdelene and the sacred feminine, I've got no problem with people using cards to tell the story of a man who shouldn't have been king.

i play poker, (almost) every Tuesday night, though i'd be laughed off the table if i brought an Iraqi's Most Wanted (or Least Wanted, or Deck of Weasels, etc.) deck.
