It's kind of neat. A real cat is more interesting, but the real cat in my life craps in a box in the house, and I'm assuming that this one can't no matter how long you play with it. I guess that it's a wash. posted by Mayor Curley at 1:15 PM on August 1, 2003
Well, it's Friday all right, and this is flash, but fun?
Or am I missing the point of this? posted by Busithoth at 1:21 PM on August 1, 2003
Yes. You've obviously missed the point... posted by kodas at 1:32 PM on August 1, 2003
The guestbook for this cat is odd. Anyways, thanks kodas! Reminds me that I really want a cat here at home. posted by starscream at 1:44 PM on August 1, 2003
It's not doing anything on my computer. Am I doing something wrong, or is this just an animation of a basically motionless breathing cat? posted by dgaicun at 3:06 PM on August 1, 2003
Welcome dgaicun, we've both missed the point! It chases your cursor around (with its eyes, anyway). Sometimes raising a paw.
I got a shedding feline at home muck up my computer screen, but thanks for filling me in, there, kodas... posted by Busithoth at 3:36 PM on August 1, 2003
I got it to move its paw slightly and wiggle an ear a little.
. . . um . . . whee? posted by dgaicun at 7:15 PM on August 1, 2003
Jesus, people. It's a well-done piece of Flash and it's fun, even if only for a few minutes. It's cute; get over the fact that it doesn't shit diamonds into your lap. posted by XQUZYPHYR at 8:05 PM on August 1, 2003
Awesome!
My cat is thoroughly pissed that I'm ignoring her in favor of a virtual version. But then most things we enjoy piss off our cats, right? posted by katieinshoes at 11:07 PM on August 1, 2003
The kind of day I've had makes me cherish this link more than any others today. Thanks, kodas. Also, the real cats in my house are wondering who's meowing, since none of them are....;) posted by Lynsey at 11:44 PM on August 1, 2003
Oh, wait! I found a way to get it to shit diamonds into my lap.
I'm totally satisfied, now. posted by jpburns at 11:09 AM on August 2, 2003
