Preservation by Plastination

Preservation by Plastination : Until recently the privilege to view corpses and the human body’s interior has been confined to medicine students and anatomists in dissection rooms. It is only due to the invention of plastination that the general public is now also able to enjoy fascinating insights into the human body.

Don't forget to set the search parameters to "From Day 1" if the story isn't new(s). It defaults to one year back.

I wonder if there's a firm out there that offers this as an option, have your loved one plastinated and use him as a coatrack? Or at least have your pet plastinated...

Jeez Grod *snort* I think there are better uses for plastination than coatracks and pets. Like the most life-like dildos ever! You could have a celebrity's cock, the real thing, preserved for your eternal pleasure. By the sounds of the article, you could even specify: opaque or clear? hard or soft?

Truly a miracle of science...

It's a really cool exhibit. If ever it is on your continent, you should go see it.

It grossed me out. I couldn't even look at the brochure when I was in Munich.

most amazing exhibition I have ever been to, only overshadowed by your utter inability to conduct a search.

seems plastination with a space at the end only return this thread without the space you get the previous threads......... search facility should trim the search terms before searching..................... may it so metafilter.
