The important part of Mefi: The Movie is having The Announcer Guy do the trailer. That, and getting Christopher Walken to play 111. My scenes will probably end up being cut, but I need a New Englander to play me. Like Judd Nelson or Eliza Dushku.

someone wrote about an ides they had In a way all ideas are something lived, or where else does life's inspiration come from? An invention is inspired from past experiences. Never heard an idea spring into one's mind out of the blue and them knowing how to use it right then.

At a long-ago job, we cast "Our Office, the Movie"; my boss at the time was Bill Murray, the other supervisors Lily Tomlin and Nell Carter, the manager Patrick Macnee (it was a fun place to work). Consensus was split for me between Chris Farley and John Candy (when they were both alive). For the MetaFilter Movie, I've lost enough weight and Dan Ayckroyd has gained enough to be a fair Wendell, but I could always invoke the "Whoopi Clause", requiring that every movie have at least a small role for Whoopi Goldberg, she can play me... If it's a normal Hollywood production, it wouldn't be the worst casting. Speaking of which, Michael Douglas is way... too... old... for Matt. You know that "Hollywood" would either cast David Schwimmer or Dustin Diamond, depending on budget. Which is one reason for Matt not to make a movie deal. Of course, he should wait anyway for Schwartzanegger to be available to play Miguel...

Well, I'm hoping for Don McKellar, but knowing my luck, I'll be played by Cooper Black. Remember, never make a movie with a kid, a dog or a typeface. Lousy font gets the best lines.
