Has there been any type of claim, or reason given for this? I have seen the video on the news. The guy walks right up, Nader even sees him coming.
Nader's brain "Hey, here comes a guy with a pie, wonder what kind, hold on, he is bringing to me, hey buddy th.. SPLAT WTF!! You ahole! Get bent buddy!"
Of course, what I would like to hear is the other guys brain. Some kind of explanation. I dare him to do it to the terminator.

Hell, no. And I like Nader, supported him in 2000. Pies in the face of politicians, businessmen, reporters, or celebrities are always funny. When I saw XQ's post, I was hoping it would be Arnold, but I was more shocked and slightly pleased that it as Ralph. He's got a lot of things going for him, but sense of humor isn't one of them.

What I can't believe is that the guy got away so easily, I wonder how much trouble he could get into if caught.

Camejo later suggested the pie assault was the work of Democrats who may feel threatened by the Green Party's growing popularity.
good grief. Now I can't stop thinking of the DNC and how much of their budget will be put toward this new pie-in-the-face strategy.

Pies don't hurt Nader. Cats, however, give him leukemia. Well-known fact.

But I heard they were unsafe at any speed.
Huh. That was less satisfying than I had hoped it would be.

Nader would be low on my pie-throwing hit list. Anyone want to go after Dubya? I'll bake.

Was it a nice green spinach/tofu pie?
No! No! Wait! Key (to a successful theft of the presidency) lime perhaps?

here are some organized pie-throwing groups...
TAART - Dutch (english version, and not much of a site)
Les Entartistes - Canadian (english version here)
BBB - American (and here are some pictures, I particularly like the Jennifer Jolly shot under Multimedia -- I think I know what she's going to say!)

Some Democrats blame Nader for helping put President Bush in the White House by siphoning off votes from Vice President Al Gore in the 2000 election.
Take out; Democrats, Nader, Vice President Al Gore & 2000; insert Republican, Perot, President Bush Sr & 1992, same previous statement. Don't blame the administrations, blame ourselves for allowing this existing government today.

I think there's an important parable in there for the Californian people, though. With Gary Coleman and Mary Carey splitting the all-important novelty celebrity vote, Gallagher could easily win, and begin a reign of fruit-smashing, Homer Simpson-pleasing terror.

At the end of his fame, he played at my work, the folks whom saw him were your below average Joe & Jane. But they the same folks you would see shopping at your local grocery stores. The ballot has magazine mogul, bronze, boobs, child stars, want to be famous, politicians, millionaires, more boobs; missing anyone?
One big question, who/whom is/are the native Cali?
