Greg Knauss is a great writer. I recommend reading An Entirely Other Day, now only available in the Wayback Archive.

I like this one from the 1.0 version:

DICTIONARY, n.
A malevolent literary device for cramping the growth of a language and making it hard and inelastic. This dictionary, however, is a most useful work.

Some of the entries are cute, in a sort of annoyed geek, "My [spec|language|OS] is bigger," kind of way, but they're a far cry from the, well, devilish wit of A.B.

Is this the same guy who wrote a parody of blogarati writing styles a little while back? It sounds like it.
