It's brilliant, or at least reflective and translucent. Fetosoap.com has started selling body products containing little fetuses. But don't worry; no children were harmed in the making of this soap, or this bar with conjoined twins. The creator doesn't claim any political motivation, but that's easy to superimpose. Good idea? Poor taste? Both?

Yeah, poor taste...but so are lots of things that can be amusing, sarcastic, or pointed. Still -- I suspect it's a gag site of some sort.

I find them rather odd, but not exactly tasteless. The site honestly doesn't seem to have any sort of political agenda on abortion. their FAQ says: Q: Are fetos pro-life or pro-choice statements? A: Fetos were not meant to be symbolic of the pro-life, nor the pro-choice campaign. We at FeTO just think fetos are neat. Fetos are meant to represent neither living nor dead fetos. They are clay. They have Canadian, French, Italian, Punk and Emo Hipster fetus beads. It just seems to me like some people with a rather odd sense of humor who like making clay fetuses. The only political type thing they sell is gay pride bracelets and necklaces, which doesn't exactly scream "pro-life" to me. And I don't see how little fetus beads really say anything for the pro-choice side, either. I think they are kinda cute, but then again, I'm pregnant and hormonal. I don't know that I'd wear fetus earrings to the grocery store, though.

I'm totally buying this for people this Christmas. Maybe I have horrible friends, but I think they will apreciate this as a nonpolitical and strange way to get clean.
