"I was there!"If you read the comments about Bob Doran's death threats against Clinton in this thread, you may get a kick out the photo of him "marching with Martin Luther King Jr." that's on Doran's site.

Oops. In that post I was going to make some witty comment about the reported death threat that the KKK made again Doran (as mentioned at that page) - but I got sidetracked by the photo.

Dornan.
DORNAN.

Geeeez... I met him two-and-a-half decades ago when he was newly elected to the Congress and I was Producer/Assistant to an L.A. radio talk show host who didn't agree with a word he said but invited him on the air frequently for his entertainment value. He even enjoyed being called "B-1 Bob".
Now Dornan's got his own syndicated talk show and it's still a mistake to take him seriously; the woman who beat him out of his congressional seat is the same one who's tweaking Gore's "family values" side by organizing the Playboy Mansion Democratic fundraiser; and the Talk Show host I admire the most took the last train for the coast, and now you know the rest of the story.

Didn't Bob Dornan help produce or appear in some kind of soft core film back in the day? I can't find anything about it offhand but I could swear I read about it.

And yes, it IS legal to treaten the life of B-1 Bob Dornan, as long as you do it on a radio station his syndicated show is airing on. (FCC rule #3714-B-NX-1377-C15-b)
