Hand to hand combat [note: flash]
Oh that brings back (painful) memories.
Was slaps a UK playground thing or do people in other countries play this too?

Oh, no we played that in the US also. In my middle school we had two forms -- hands held out in front and slappers' hands on his thighs. (That took a little longer to reach the target but offered more opportunity for 'fakes'.)
We got a hit for each flinch and the slapper lost his turn when he missed.
I remember this game so well because it enabled me once to fit in at school. I started a new school in the 6th grade. I found out my hand speed and hand-eye coordination was just a little faster than the school "champion." The guys in the 8th grade took turns challenging me. I won all and was forgiven for being the first boy at the school to take home economics.
Yes, I am that old.
I like to say I became a Slaps champion with a seven-figure income, a line of Slaps wear, and a model spouse, but a tragic hangnail condition ended my career.

Online Flash games always seem to be hit & miss (pun intended), but this one is definitely highly enjoyable. Very fun & funny. Do it!

oh, and i eventually graduated to the 'big league' with the boys who used the teeth of combs... yeah, nothin' like bloody knuckles to hasten the flinch reflex.

We had similar game in Finland too, only with metal combs. Quite painful, actually. Scars were visible for weeks after especially bloody rounds...
