Almost two years later and they're still finding remains from the World Trade Center. Hopefully one more family gets a call they've been waiting for/dreading that their loved one is found.

Hate to say it but if people are still waiting to hear about their loved ones after two years then they're dreaming.

Fenriq, I don't think they're waiting to hear that they're alive, but I do think finding some form of physical remains is important to people.

They're storing some of the unidentified remains so that years down the line, when science advances, they may be able to ID them then. If you've ever watched Forensic Files, you know this is very likely to happen--even now they are solving cases that were committed back when DNA knowledge was just not up to our level now.

The jetliner crashes and subsequent collapses of the 110-story towers blew debris and human remains throughout the area. Aircraft parts were found blocks away. Part of a stairwell from the south tower landed on the roof of the same building at 90 West Street where remains were found Monday. A woman's pelvic bone was found there a year ago.

They find a staircase. Then a year later they find a pelvic bone. Then a year after that they find more body parts? On the same roof?

Good god I'm impressed with the forensic teams in NYC...

These weren't forensic teams, in all of it, some were construction workers.

and they didn't find this latest bone on the roof. it was on the "20th floor level of scaffolding that was in place on the north side of the building at the time of the attack."
