Scorecard of Evil

Scorecard of Evil "Two years into President Bush's term, the damage he has done to the nation and the world is incalculable. On issue after issue, Bush does what's good for big corporations and right-wing extremists at the expense of the public. The Wage Slave Journal offers this scorecard to help you keep track of all of the evil deeds Bush commits and, more important, to provide a record for your perusal when November 2004 rolls around."

This post was deleted for the following reason: bush is evil?! get out! (this was posted ages ago, too)

I hope this isn't a DP. I searched and searched for this.

And the bottom line of course, as always, is that discussion of politics on MetaFilter blows goats and I would sooner ban it entirely than stomach another Bush baaaaad! thread.

I, for one, welcome this detailed, thorough, and annotated list of why exactly many of us think the current administration is composed of a collective of common criminals. Thanks.

Jumpin' mods! Is there no end to the political caterwauling?

The bottom line: "Crossfire" is *not* a discussion. It is people who are intransigent, immovable, oblivious to logic or reason, and so corrupted by ulterior motives that everything they say is slanted. There is no communication happening, only an effort to seize an enemies' pause to catch his breath to mindlessly counterattack.

So watching "Crossfire" only serves two purposes: justifying your existing prejudices, or enraging you at those with whom you disagree.

SO I PROPOSE: when yet another stupid partisan political thread is posted, those who object to it simply reply with one word: "boycott"

Feel free to join in.
