Did the Met ever have any dignity? Truth, beauty and cash, baby! Too bad they couldn't have lavished some of that so-called detail obsession they've got onto the site's usability.

I know its hip and all to bash the fashionistas, but I've always thought that those ancient Greek outfits looked not only damn sexy, but pretty comfortable too, I hope this inspires a fashion trend.

As a costume history geek, thanks for posting this! Although I spend a lot of time on the Met site, I somehow missed this, and have just spent many minutes emailing the link to people I know!
