Glasgow University Library Exhibitions. Some nice online exhibits : nineteenth century views of Glasgow, sixteenth and seventeenth century anatomical illustration, British bookbindings, Glasgow Cathedral windows, rare Spanish books, music books, flower illustration, etc.

I live pretty much next door to the University, and didn't know about half of this stuff, so thanks for the post.

Not that they'll let me into Special Collections without a Matriculation card to look at any of it in the flesh...

Nicely timed to coincide with Freshers' Week too. Although the wee scamps seem to be more concerned with vomiting on my doorstep just now, rather than hanging out on the top floor of the Library. Tip - don't live opposite the GUU.

Thanks, plep - some nice collections there - I particularly liked the medical illustrations.
