You know this whole indie rock zine is quite silly. I could care less about the bad writing. I'm a total review junky, and go to several sources before buying cds. I read indieshite, but mainly to tell me what the other places are reviewing. Same thing with Us against Them, which is far better done in my opinion. You can be critical without being a total ass.

Bah, these review sites are all boring. This whole little war/scandal/mocking eachother deal has been the only exciting aspect. There's no substitute to actually listening to these albums before you buy them... Although there is the odd occasion when I see something new mentioned highly in a number of places and I might actively seek that release out...

Honestly, how often do British people use “bloody” in 21st century speech?

Erm, all the bloody time, actually.

I bet though the servers are housed in America, the actual people making these websites are french, and are pulling the wool over everybody's eyes.

Or canadian. Or italian for that matter.

the indieshite guys (and any indie rock critics for that matter) should really read this Dave Eggers interview. Especially the addendum at the end where he talks about criticism and art.
